A Book Rec brought to you by @rayliz89 #10

Readers love to share about books they’re reading. We asked readers to recommend a book they enjoyed which most of their friends had not read. We’ll be sharing what we learned and hopefully you’ll find a new book to read. I know my TBR list will be growing as we get introduced to all these books.

Today Rachel from Rachel Reads Ravenously is sharing ➜ The Deep End of the Sea by Heather Lyons

My book that I loved but not a lot of people have read is The Deep End of the Sea by Heather Lyons. It’s probably the only “sweet” romance I have ever loved, with a tiny bit of angst. Feifei recommended this book to me and I am forever grateful, because it’s such a wonderful story.

It’s a modern day retelling of the Medusa greek myth, with Medusa written as a victim and not a villain. I love misunderstood heroines and retellings. Even though it’s considered fantasy, it really isn’t. Everything is modern day, just with the addition of Greek gods as the characters.

AND Hermes!!!! He is your next book boyfriend. That man is PERFECT! Anyways, it’s on KU if you want to try it. It’s a beautiful story and Lyon’s best work to date.
