From Amazon.com:
Alex Thompson's life is following the script. A pre-law student at Columbia University, she's focused on her grades, her life and her future. The last thing she needs is to reconnect with the boy who broke her heart.

Dylan Paris comes home from Afghanistan severely injured and knows that the one thing he cannot do is drag Alex into the mess he's made of his life.

When Dylan and Alex are assigned to the same work study program and are forced to work side by side, they have to make new ground rules to keep from killing each other.

The only problem is, they keep breaking the rules.

The first rule is to never, ever talk about how they fell in love.

Foxy's Review:

A great second chance romance… or was it a third, forth, etc. chance romance?!

“I choose not to destroy my present because of the risk of a future that might or might not happen.”

Just Remember to Breathe is a love story about a disabled veteran with severe injuries and a college student. But their story really begins when they meet in highschool on a school trip.

PET PEEVE: Miscommunication. When the reason behind why the couple is NOT together is because of miscommunication it frustrates me. I want to grab the characters and sit them in a room together and MAKE them talk about what went wrong and how they interpreted the situation be it the right or wrong way. Alex and Dylan have a major miscommunication that leads to a domino effect that forever changes the courses of many people’s lives.

I’ve heard that The Last Hour is the rip out your heart and leave you bleeding book. An unforgettable tale about Alex’s sister, Carrie.
“They’ve [parents] accepted a punk rocker and a former soldier. Who knows who might be next?” -Carrie (in reference to what kind of guy Carrie will end up with because her sisters got their parents to accept guys who didn’t fit their model)
I’m looking forward to her book and seeing why it is touted the best book in the series.
