I didn’t realize there was a prequel to book 1 until after I started book 2. I stopped book 2 and went and listened to this one.
One Cruel Night gives a more in-depth picture of Natalie and Penn’s first-time meeting which is talked about in the first book. Book 1 happens 6 years after this book.
Now, that I finished this one I’m returning to book #2.

Cruel Money is my first book by K.A. Linde and didn’t disappoint and now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to jump on the bandwagon.

Cruel Fortune is the second book in the Cruel trilogy. It’s been years since I’ve read a trilogy. I’m actually enjoying how the books focus on one couple.
