When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.
Archer's Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.

*Happy sigh* I had no clue what to expect with this book EXCEPT that it’s everyone’s favorite book. Archer’s Voice lived up to its hype.
Archer’s Voice is a beautiful love story about one person running from their past and the other person hiding from the world.
Bree ends up in a small town where she hopes to find solace from the things that haunt her. Along the way she meets the towns “silent hermit” a man, Archer, who everyone disregards. Bree is intrigued by Archer and wants to know more about him. But due to living his life devoid of human kindness he isn’t receptive to Bree at first.
“Archer’s Voice” is one of the books you hear all your friends talking about and you wonder if the book will live up to the hype or not. For me, it was a great book. Ms. Sheridan has a way of bringing the pages of a story alive. Even though, I finished a couple days ago I’m still thinking about the book. “Archer’s Voice” is a stunning love story that restores your faith in humanity.
