5 Book To Movie Adaptations that I’ve read the book but the movie hasn’t come out yet!
They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose . . .
An unflinching, darkly funny, and deeply moving story of a boy, his seriously ill mother, and an unexpected monstrous visitor.
Miles “Pudge” Halter is done with his safe life at home. His whole life has been one big non-event, and his obsession with famous last words has only made him crave “the Great Perhaps” even more (Francois Rabelais, poet).
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn’t think it’s love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction.
When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to …a whole lot of boring…until I spotted my hot neighbor, w/ his looming height & eerie green eyes. Book on Amazon

Flipped would be amazing to see! As well as When a Monster Calls.
Yea!! I really liked the books! 🙂
If i read the book i don’t wan’t to see a movie based by it ( still don’t know what is all the fuss on FSOF) but i admit that since i’m a big fan of CoHo that Ugly Love is gonna tempt me.
I can see why… bc you know what’s going to happen. I have a friend who doesn’t see the movie after she reads the book. 🙂
Yea, I’m curious about Ugly Love <3
Gone Girl the movie was fantastic! I hope you like it when you get around to watching it.
Really? I can’t wait to see it. I thought the book was okay but I think I’ll like the movie better.
I heard the author changed the ending in the movie. So, that will be fun to see how she changed it. 🙂
I still want to see The Martian and Gone Girl too….
I’ve been told Gone Girl is on Netflix. So, I need to check and see if it’s still available.
I still need to see Paper Towns, The Martian and If I Stay too. Gone Girl is one of my favorites. You should totally see it soon! I am super excited for Me Before You and Looking for Alaska. Great list!!
Thanks! I hope to see GG soon…my daughter told me it’s on Netflix. So, I’ll be looking that up soon. 🙂
Gone Girl is a really good movie!

That’s great news!! Now, I’m excited to see it. <3
I love seeing how a book is translated into a movie (or a graphic novel, or play, etc.), so I’m a sucker for adaptations. Paper Towns did a pretty great job of staying true to the book, I thought. Hope you enjoy it!
Me too! Glad to hear about Paper Towns. Hopefully I’ll see it in the next few months. 🙂
I had Gone Girl and The Martian on my list as well. I am so excited about A Monster Calls! It’s one of my favorite books of all time; absolutely can’t wait to see that! 😀
A Monster Calls made me bawl. I’m going to have pack tissues with me to see it. <3 🙂
