I read this a couple of years ago and I haven’t had a chance to re-read it to refresh my memory so I’m giving you my old and boring review.

Our main characters have both dealt with deaths that changed their lives. This story describes how they survived and what they did to keep on going.
This is also a love story that spans 30 years. I loved both Gen and Ahren together and it hurt that they ended up spending so much time apart. Surprisingly, this was a very steamy read. I just wasn’t expecting it, afterall this book is mainly about death.
Loved all the additional characters that made this story so brilliant. This is definitely going to be listed as one of my favourite little gems for 2015. It made me feel so much – love, sadness, sympathy and humour.
J.B. Hartnett has produced an interesting and original story.
