SERIOUSLY!!! Why’d I wait so long to read this book?!I bought it a year ago but let it sit on my kindle. Now, I’m kicking myself because this whole year I could have been experiencing BONES! Move over, Edward, there’s a new vampire in town and he’s sexy, British and has a sense of humor.

I laughed so hard while reading this book. Who knew vampires could be so humorous?!

•“Lucifer’s bouncing balls, Kitten, not again!”

•“I am a nice young girl here to pick up your granddaughter for the weekend… We’re going to a Bible retreat to scare the devil out of her. – Bones to Cat’s grandparents”

•“One corpse, extra crispy! Do I hear a thousand dollars? ”

•“Kitty need’s a tongue bath”

Cat is a kick-ass half-bred. Atoning her father’s wrongdoing Cat becomes a night huntress killing vampires. After a wild meeting of Bones he convinces her to pair up with him in killing “bad” vampires. GO TEAM CATNES! (since I’m new to the series…I’m sure there is a cooler nickname for this couple than -catnes).

Don’t even get me started about the sexy chemistry these two have going on. *fanning myself* I’ve been told I haven’t seen anything yet because book two’s chapter 32 is EPIC.

I love this couple because their banter is witty, entertaining and all-around fun. YES to seven books in this series! I feel like I hit the jackpot.

I did listen to this one and it was fun putting voices to these characters. The mom has the most annoying whiny voice and Timmie has a very timid voice. Very fitting for their characters.READ THIS or LISTEN TO IT.
