Happy Release Day: THE RED by Tiffany Reisz
Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother’s art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it’s in the red.
Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year.
The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting…but surely her mother didn’t mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger. Then again, she did promise to do anything to save The Red…
ow! That ending!!!
”Do anything you have to, but save The Red.”
A deathbed promise was made when Mona’s mom asked her to not sell her beloved art gallery. In Mona’s lowest point a man enters her life. ”To Mona he looked like the devil gone courting.” His offer to save The Red will involve Mona allowing Marcus to use her body the next year.
Now, here is where the story gets interesting. Marcus picks artwork to reenact the scenes that have been painted. I can safely say this book caused me to use google a ton of times so I could see all the artwork described in this story. Each time a painting was revealed for their next fantasy session I quickly did a google search to what was to come. I’m thinking I should have taken an art class back when I was in college so I could have been better educated on the artwork discussed. If you’re like me and want a visual for the artwork described make sure to have google handy.
Gah, that ending was the icing on the cake. Bravo, Ms. Reisz, another great erotica. It’s been a long time since I’ve read an erotica and Ms. Reisz is best at it.
The Red is a standalone erotica fantasy. If you’re looking for some culture while getting swept up in steamy sex scenes then one-click The Red.
All the artwork in the above graphic is mentioned in The Red.
