A WEEK TO BE WICKED
(Spindale Cove, #2)
Tessa Dare
BLURB
Unexpected lovers find themselves together in Spindle Cove with A Week to be Wicked—the second book in Tessa Dare’s utterly delectable historical romance series. This Regency Era delight finds a restless British lord desperate to escape the quaint and too quiet small seaside resort he’s trapped in…and he gets much more than he expected when he eagerly agrees to escort a beautiful, brilliant, socially awkward lady scientist to Scotland. Concerning Tessa Dare and her irresistible romances, bestselling author Julia Quinn is spot on when she says, “Prepare to fall in love!” And anyone who loves the novels of Lisa Kleypas, Christina Dodd, and Liz Carlyle is going to adore having A Week to be Wicked.

Minerva is a nerdy girl. She loves reading and science. She’s the middle sister and her mom has given up hope of her ever landing a husband.
Colin is a shameless rake. He’s riding out his time before he can access his money.
Minerva comes up with a plan that will benefit both of them. Her plan will take them on a week long trip. Along the way they encounter many obstacles.
THEY –
● act like Bonnie & Clyde
● stay in a place like the Playboy Mansion
● work like they are part of Habitat for Humanity
This unlikely couple have a quirky sense of humor. “It’s in the name of science” is one of Minerva’s funny statements she says to be able to check things out on Colin’s body.
A Week to be Wicked is book 2 in a series of four books plus two novellas. This is the first book I’ve read by this author. Why did I start with this one instead of book 1 – well, this one was on sale and it had been recommended to me.

This is one of my FAVORITE Tessa Dare books, and I’ve read a lot of her books. I’ve read all of Spindle Cove and it’s fabulous. I also love Romancing the Duke, which was the first book by Dare that I’ve read. So glad you loved this!
Thanks!!! I’m so glad I picked it up and read it. Such a great book. I also read – One with a Duke – which I loved too.
I need to read by Tessa Dare.
This book sounds so good. 5 starred books are my weakness. I want to give it a try.
Awesome review, anyway. Thanks for putting this on my radar.
Yay!!! I’m so glad I could add to your ‘never-ending-tbr-list’!!! LOL Thanks for the nice comment. 🙂 <3
