I’m a new reader of Ilsa Madden-Mills books. I really enjoyed this book.
The story grabbed me from the start. A blind date that has gone array. Elena is set up on a blind date and when she arrives at the restaurant she finds a guy wearing the shirt color her blind date is supposed to be wearing and assumes it’s him. Jack is enjoying a quiet evening out at a restaurant away from fans. He’s a professional football player and has been making the news lately and not for the good stuff.
Elena joining Jack at his table and being offended he was eating dinner without waiting for her to arrive was fun because the reader knows Elena is on the wrong date. From that unexpected blind date, their world keeps colliding. And slowly they grow a relationship that has some ups and downs.
I look forward to reading more books by Ms. Madden-Mills.
