THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS

Thank you, ladies!
Greed
1. What is your most expensive book?
I’m a cheapskate when it comes to buying books. My most expensive kindle book is The Bronze Horseman. My good friend, KC, bought it as a Christmas gift for me.
Wrath
2. What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Hmmmm….that’s a tough one to answer. I guess, I would say, Sylvia Day. The reason for that would be because of the third book in the Crossfire series. I was so excited for New Years Eve of 2012 because that’s when Entwined With You was due to be released. I had changed my plans so that I could be home reading about Gideon and then the date got pushed back 6 more months. By the time June of 2013 rolled around I was busy with other books and was still sore about the date change.
I still haven’t read Entwined With You.
Gluttony
3. What book have you devoured over and over again with no shame?
Ha ha!!! Funny this question is being asked because I just posted my Fifty Shades of Grey review the other day and mentioned how it was my 6th time reading it.
It was my first book in the romance genre and it started my desire to read more romance.
Sloth
4. Which book have you neglected reading due to laziness?
This is an easy one for me to answer. I have neglected to read the last book in The Bronze Horseman series. The length scares me because it will take me forever to finish.
Pride
5. What book do you most talk about in order to sound like an intellectual reader?
English was my major in college so that meant I read a lot of literature books. Prior to 2012 I read mostly non-fiction.
But if I had to pick one book, or group of books, that I can talk about and sound like an intelligent reader it would be Shakespeare. I read a ton of Shakespeare’s works in college.
Lust
6. What attributes do you find attractive in a male or female character?
Since this is the book world and NOT real world … I like my men to be alpha. Willing to fight for their woman and yet be totally swoon worthy and sweet to her. He must be a loyal one woman man.
It’s been a long time since I’ve read Mystery Man but that’s how I remember Hawk’s character.
Envy
7. What book would you most like to receive as a gift?
I don’t have just one in particular. My family knows that books are always a welcome gift. I can spend hours in a bookstore looking through all the books; feeling them, smelling them, flipping through the pages. Even at the grocery store I gravitate towards the ‘greeting card’ isle where there is a small section of books. It’s always fun to see indie authors who’ve made it to the store shelves.
