This week I’m jumping back to 2013.
Two summers ago I read this exciting tale. It had me at the edge of my seat. Ms. Redmerski knows how to write a thrilling story line. Don’t miss this one.

If Sempre & Captive in the Dark had a love child this book would be it.
KC and I had in depth conversations about the character’s names and their meanings. I won’t go into full details so not to give any spoilers away.
Sarai: Princess (she totally was treated as a princess compared to the other girl prisoners)
Victor: to conquer; victory
Faust: fortunate; lucky
Javier: bright
Niklas: victorious people
Fleischer: butcher
Izel: unique; only one (thankfully there was only one of her)
Vonnegut: good hunting track
Samantha: listener
Izabel: God’s promise
Seyfried: peace and victory
Sarai

Victor
