Ugly Love Book Cover Ugly Love
Colleen Hoover

From Amazon.com:

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

Foxy’s Review:

UGLY LOVE STARS
CoHo wrote about the uglier side of love… when love ruins you. The “thing” that ruins Miles for love is definitely ugly.Tate is willing to be the woman who will be in Miles life with no strings attached.
She agrees to his two rules:
1. never ask about his past
2. don’t expect a futureBut Tate lets her heart “hope” for more. I was “shipping” for these two. Even though their relationship was only built on a mutual attraction and a desire for sexy time… I wanted MORE for them.

I broke both of Miles rules. I wanted to know about his past and I hoped for their future.

description

One thing that really stood out to me in this book was the sexy time. CoHo branched out and added some steamy scenes in Ugly Love. Wow! Loved them.

I’m super excited that we will get to see this on the big screen in 2016. Prior to 3 days ago I had never had heard of Nick Bateman until it was announced he’ll be Miles. Wow… he is sinfully sexy. I don’t know where he’s been hiding but I’m glad he’s coming to the big screen. *heart eyes*

I admire CoHo’s use of the English language. She doesn’t use flowery words or phrases but instead she simply puts together words to make incredible sentences. I enjoyed the writing inSlammed but I didn’t like one character, in particular, who I will refrain from mentioning his name. But after I read Hopeless I knew this was an author I’d follow to the ends of the earth.
