Wildcard
Early on in WILDCARD there is a hot tub scene that had me stopping to come on GR to see what genre this book was listed under. I thought I had gotten myself into something I wasn’t prepared for. *lol* Luckily, for me this was listed as NA genre and it held to that genre.
ONE MISSTEP CHANGES RYDER’S LIFE
Ryder is known to the world as an immature, self-righteous womanizer who has no respect for the game of tennis. After an unfortunate event that leaves Ryder pondering what to do with his time off he comes upon something that leads him to Scarlett. Scarlett is a single mom who works full time and has a 7 year old with cystic fibrosis. Once these two connect the story takes a big turn in the direction it was heading.
Holy smokes…that’s quite a cliffhanger. I’m excited to find out what’s going to happen next. I love the anticipation of waiting for the next book.
WILDCARD is an enjoyable, fun novella. I even had some laugh out loud moments while reading this book. Being a mom of a boy I hope I never experience with my son what Ryder’s mom had to, one scene in particular, with Ryder. *lol*
