It’s that time of year again.
Time to say goodbye 2016! Hello 2017!
Let’s take a look back at our favorites of this year and all the great reads in store for us next year.
Kim’s favorite 2016 reads:
Fighting Solitude by Aly Martinez
This book really had it all … second-chances, friends-to-lovers & a little bit of crazy drama (the nemesis is insane!). A fabulous way to end an amazing series. Love, love, love!
The Bad Ones by Stylo Fantome
Sylo Fantome is a brilliantly talented writer. Or a total psychopath. Maybe a bit of both?
I don’t know where she drew her inspiration for this story … but it doesn’t matter … what she delivers with this book is bloody fabulous. And when I say bloody, I do mean bloody.
Veiled by Karina Halle
This book is so much more than I could have ever hoped for. I truly loved everything about it. From the ghoulish frights to the lustful romance.
A Love So Tragic by Stevie J. Cole
My pillowcase is a little damp, having cried myself to sleep after reading it.
And I just know …
This is a book that I will never forget.
Nolan by Susan Fanetti
This was literally my most highly anticipated book EVER!!!!
It was totally worth the wait! I LOVED every minute.
Miracle by Susan Fanetti
Susan saved the best Pagano story for last. I LOVED it! This story is a wonderful reflection of my belief in the nature of love and understanding.
The Retrieval Duet by Aly Martinez
Once I picked this series up, I couldn’t put it down. Completely engrossing, in every possible way. I’d read it over again in a heartbeat.
Amy’s favorite 2016 reads:
From Sand and Ash by Amy Harmon
AMAZING! I said this after reading Ms. Harmon’s Making Faces and it’s worth repeating here: I, for one, am a better person for reading it.
It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
✿•*¨*•✿This is a magical moment…another CoHo book.✿•*¨*•✿ For me, this book ranks up there with Hopeless as my favorite CoHo book. I recommend for the best experience to go into this book blind.
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata
One of my favorite aspects of the story is how the slow burn didn’t affect my enjoyment of the love story. The story felt believable on how the characters came to fruition with their feelings. I was held captive from the beginning of the story to the end of it.
Nolan by Susan Fanetti
Nolan, your book made me cry in so many spots. Some were tears of happiness and some were tears of pain and even though you made me bawl through the book I’d do it all over again knowing the outcome.
All the Ugly and Wonderful Things by Bryn Greenwood
I was glued to the pages of this book because of the way the story was told. The author, Bryn Greenwood, brought a conversational story to life on the page of All the Ugly and Wonderful Things. This is a book that won’t soon be forgotten.
Royally Screwed by Emma Chase
I loved ROYALLY SCREWED to the moon and back!!!
