2016 Reading Resolutions

Do you make New Year’s resolutions?

How about Reading Resolutions?

Amy & I were inspired to create these lists by some of our fellow bloggers. Instead of simply setting a goal for the number of books we want to read, we’ve decided to make some more specific objectives of what we’d like to accomplish in our reading lives this year.

Now it’s your turn! Tell us about your reading goals for the year … do you have a list like us, or do you have a goal of reading a certain number of books?

And let’s not forget to celebrate our success from last year! We each exceeded our reading goals for 2015 … what about you?

  1. I went through my e-books & deleted everything from 2012,2013 & 2014 that I haven’t read.

I decided if a book is a struggle to read then I’m not going to finish it.

My goal is to slow my reading down to one, two at the most books a week.

Another goal is for every 4 book will be a nonfiction book, American History will be my focus.

    Happy New Year!
    Go Ducks! Lol

    1. I understand your struggle with the To Be Read list. I cleaned mine up significantly last year. Not an easy challenge.
Good luck with all your goals!
      Happy New Year!

  2. I want to re-read my favourites. I hate that I put my Goodreads Reading Challenge ahead of reading for the love of it. I want to re-read my favourite Julie Garwood’s and Jude Deveraux’s from back in the day. 🙂

  3. Well i started reading new authors to me last year so i just want to stick to that. My goal this year is to try an audio books- one per month – and if my reading speed is tha same as in 2015 i can say that 150 books in 2016 is good enough.

  4. Kim B i did it…my first audio book is done of my bucket list. Since Gabriel’s Inferno is my fav trilogy ever i started with the first book in serie and it was great..
I guess i can stick to my reading plan:)
p.s. why can’t i stick with my diet resoluton too ?
